CTI is composed of 32 members organised in three colleges.
The first college consists of 16 members chosen among higher education academic staff, the second one 8 members selected among the most representative employers’ organizations and the third 8 members coming from associations and trade unions representing engineers.
The members are appointed, by decree of the Minister in charge of Higher Education for a term of 4 years, renewable once, without exceeding 8 consecutive years.
The president and the vice-presidents are elected for 2 years and are re-eligible.

3.A. MEMBERS OF INSTITUTIONS ENTITLED TO DELIVER THE ENGINEERING DEGREE
Five members chosen among the staff of institutions entitled to deliver the engineering degree, other than public institutions under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of Higher Education
3.B. SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Three members chosen because of their scientific and technical skills without any other condition.
