THE PLENARY ASSEMBLY

CTI is composed of 32 members organised in two representative groups.

The first group consists of 16 members chosen among higher education academic staff, the second one 8 members selected among the most representative employers’ organizations and 8 members coming from associations and trade unions representing engineers.

The members are appointed, by decree of the Minister in charge of Higher Education for a term of 4 years, renewable once, without exceeding 8 consecutive years.

The president and the vice-presidents are elected for 2 years and are re-eligible.

MEMBErS OF ENGINEERING HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND SCHOOLS

Four members chosen among the staff of engineering higher education institutions and schools under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of Higher Education, entitled to award the engineering degree

SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

Eight members chosen because of their scientific and technical skills

MEMBERS OF INSTITUTIONS ENTITLED TO AWARD THE ENGINEERING DEGREE

Five members chosen among the staff of institutions entitled to award the engineering degree, other than public institutions under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of Higher Education

SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

Three members chosen because of their scientific and technical skills without any other condition
