{"id":9271,"date":"2019-06-19T11:58:20","date_gmt":"2019-06-19T09:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cti-commission.fr\/?p=9271"},"modified":"2023-06-15T08:47:53","modified_gmt":"2023-06-15T06:47:53","slug":"lireqa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cti-commission.fr\/en\/lireqa","title":{"rendered":"Lireqa: the European project \u2018\u2018Linking academic recognition and quality assurance\u2019\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From 2016 to 2019, the CTI was a partner in the European LIREQA project supported under the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/info.erasmusplus.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">ERASMUS+<\/a> programme. The project dissemination conference took place on 22 May 2019 in Vilnius, Lithuania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objective of LIREQA was to contribute to the fair recognition of qualifications by developing recommendations that make the link between academic recognition and internal and external quality assurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The practical recommendations from this work have been published in a report entitled: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cti-commission.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/LIREQA_recommendations_final_version_web.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">\u201c<em>Integrating Academic recognition and quality assurance : practical recommandations<\/em>\u201c<\/a>. The drafting of these recommendations made the partners in the consortium aware of the need to address the three target groups separately: higher education institutions, quality assurance agencies and ENIC\/NARIC centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cti-commission.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14204\" width=\"206\" height=\"289\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/914521258b4eddfc5dee3ec3c\/images\/08d5cf4f-d919-42ec-9155-6c9c6e4ba0a5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"195\" height=\"69\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.enic-naric.net\/lithuania.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">NARIC (National Academic Recognition Information Centre)<\/a> based in Lithuania coordinated the project; partners were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4 NARIC centres: Lithuania, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 quality assurance agencies: CTI, AQU (Catalogna), ANECA (Spain), ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An \u201cadvisory group\u201d composed of:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the President of the Follow-up Committee of the Lisbon Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a representative of ESU (European Student Union)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a representative of HEIs designated by the EUA (European University Association)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a former Board member of the NARIC Network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 2016 to 2019, the CTI was a partner in the European LIREQA project supported under the ERASMUS+ programme.
