Since its creation date (1934), CTI has considerably widened its activities in order to adapt itself and the engineering programmes to the globalisation of economy and to the ever-growing international higher education area.
Since the turn of the new century, CTI has focused on the following goals:
to support higher education institutions in the implementation of effective internal quality assurance;
to foster competence-based engineering education;
to offer its experience to foreign universities wishing to increase their international visibility.
